I actually seen the show when he did this. Paul Jr. and Sr. had a falling out and Jr. decided to start his own thing. Coleman jumped on the band wagon because of Jr's reputation off of American Chopper. They (Coleman) wanted to do a limited edition to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of the road trip and the rest is history.....

I have the Road Trip LX model and I really like it. We bought it for the camper and also run it off the LP in the camper with an extend-a-flow kit. It's a little heavy, but it's a nice grill.
