I posted about this in the other RV forum.  thought I would put it here as well.

I bought a Big Easy Greaseless Fryer for Christmas and absolutly love it.  I think it will work perfect for camping as well and plan on using it alot.  So far I've cooked turkey, chickens, pork butts, and pork loins in it and they turn out fantastic.  What I like about it is its clean, no big mess, doesn't smoke, doesn't get hot on the outside, heck, I would use it under hte awning with no problem (but would perfer to move it further away).  And it doesn't take much attention to cook with.

If you like cooking while camping, I would recommend this.

It is an interesting device. I have been into my LP smoker since Christmas and it also is a great tool for turning out savory meats

I bought an electric smoker for camping last year as well.  I really like it as a grill and use it all the time.  I've smoked with it and the smoked meat is a little better than this fryer.  But this fryer is close to the smoked, especially in juicyness.  Its a little easier to cook with and quicker than a smoker, and it gives a different texture which is nice.

just another tool in the bbqer's camping aresonal.
