Well I finally purchased one of these portable propane campfires. While I was camping in Myrtle Beach campfires were not allowed so I purchased the Little Red Campfire from Camping World. It is not a replacement for a real fire but is a very nice alternative when you can't have one. I highly recommend it for those campgrounds that don't allow ground fires (like Topsail) or when fire bans prevent having a real fire. I found it very easy to use and the smores taste just as good.

We had to stop at Camping World in Statesville NC last week. I saw one of those and was thinking about one. If you have the space, bring it to Stephen Foster so we can have a personal demonstration.

| Al I have used it several times now and I think it is great but like I said it is not a replacement for the real thing. It was worth the money to me because our family really enjoys our campfires and there are times when we can't have one due to the location we are camped at such as Topsail or Ft Wilderness. Also there have been times we could not use our home fire pit due to burn bans. Now we can make our smores anytime we want.

Greg,
I have told Donna I have never had a "Real Smore". She had to tell me what it was and how to make them. I love Chocolate and graham cracker.
You bring the fire and we will bring the fixings.
