| Just got back from a week at Silver River. The park is very nice with great private sites. We got there Monday and had the entire loop to ourselves until Thursday. Camping here in August was not such a great idea though. We spent an afternoon at the water park to cool off. It was a very hot week!!!! I am not familiar with the area, and should have done some more research before we left as to what was close by. Juniper Springs would have been a great "cool off" destination. I only passed it on the way to 95 to head south instead of taking the turnpike. No fishing or swimming was a bummer too, but the river is really beautiful and made for a nice afternoon in a canoe. Winter or spring would be a better time to really enjoy the trails.

| I agree it is a great park but not for the summer months.
